Tile Design Tips and Ideas
1. The larger the tile size, the more beauty and luxury it gives to the place.

In the field of construction and design, large format tiles are the trend right now because they make the place look more spacious. Large tiles can be used on the wall and floor to highlight the beauty and spaciousness of the place. Using small tiles on the floor highlights the lines of the grout, making the place look narrow and small.

2. Do not choose the color of the tiles that matches your furniture.

Many homeowners forget this in their rush to install new tile. Furniture, wall color, and fabrics are all temporary. Tile is permanent, so choose items that are durable and can be combined with different colors or enhanced with rugs and curtains.

3. Use large size tiles for countertops.

As the porcelain industry advances, sizes up to 2x4 meters of slabs are available in different thicknesses and designs, ideal for countertops as they are heat resistant, easy to clean and long lasting.

4. The trope is an amazing design tool.

Grouting comes in the finishing stages of flooring implementation, and its importance lies in filling the gaps between the tiles. Grouting can become as important as the tiles from a design perspective. You can choose the appropriate grout color and determine how it appears on the tile area.

5. Tiles are not 100% waterproof.

Water can seep between absorbent flooring joints. It is therefore essential to use a protective product after flooring is installed to prevent water from seeping in. The product should be used periodically to ensure that water does not seep in. Check out Villa products to learn more.

6. The durability of the tiles depends on the good use of glue.

Each tile size (ceramic or porcelain) requires a different thickness of glue. If the tile size is 60 x 60 and above, it needs a thicker glue on the back of the tile to get 100% coverage. By using cheap or low-quality adhesive, you are causing the possibility of the tile coming off after a while of installation. For more information, you can see the Fixer products section.
